Using modified nanoparticles prepared in organic solvent as electrostatic or hydrophobic affinity probes and also combined the liquid-phase microextraction (LPME) techniques for separation and preconcentration of proteins in biological samples prior to MALDI-TOF and ESI –ion trap mass spectrometry.

Developing methods for efficient extraction and rapid enrichment of proteins in biological samples by using nanoparticles or quantum dots in MALDI- MS and ESI-MS.

Developing single drop organic nanoprobes for protein analysis in MALDI-MS and ESI-MS by synthesizing surface modification nanoparticles.

Enrichment of mass spectrometric signals by nanomaterials and quantum dots in MALDI and ESI-MS.

Developing nano materials and quantum dots for acceleration of microwave assisted enzamatic digestions of proteins and phosphoproteins.

Analysis of proteins from microorganisms by MALDI and ESI mass spectrometry.

Developing phosphopeptide enrichment techniques by using nanomaterials.

Developing nano materials and quantum dots as the matrix for protein analysis in MALDI-MS.

Probing the binding interactions of nanoparticles and quantum dots with proteins.
