國立中山大學 化學系助理教授 (2014/02-2025)
Professor Lin Yu-Ya has had diverse interests since childhood, and by chance, she became an international student. While receiving her education in the UK, she was inspired by her high school chemistry teacher, which led her to pursue chemistry further in university. After completing her master's and doctoral training at the University of Oxford, she chose to teach at National Sun Yat-sen University in 2014. Her Ph.D. research topic, "Development and Application of Olefin Metathesis in Protein Surface Modification," has inspired her current research interests in organic synthesis, peptide synthesis, and drug development.
Teaching Excellence Awards, College of Science, National Sun Yat-sen University (2017)
Outstanding Mentor Awards, National Sun Yat-sen University (2015)
JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship (short-term) for Foreign Researchers (2011)
EPSRC Doctoral Training Awards (2009)
Development of Organic Synthetic Strategy, Peptide Synthesis, Synthesis of biologically-active compounds, Development and Synthesis of novel functional materials
