Our laboratory focuses on the development and improvement of analytical methods/instruments, and their application in environmental, clinical, and food analysis. Current research directions include:

1. Automated Analysis:
Utilizing microcomputer interface technology combined with flow injection analysis (FIA), anodic stripping voltammetry (ASV), or potentiometric stripping analysis (PSA) to determine trace amounts of heavy metal ions such as lead, cadmium, copper, and mercury. This enables rapid, accurate, and efficient automated analysis.

2. Liquid Chromatography-Electrochemical Detection Analysis:
Exploring post-column photodegradation reactions and pulse potential detection technology for the analysis of organochlorine pesticides and mercury species.

3. Capillary Electrophoresis-Electrochemical Detection Analysis:
Investigating the use of carbon fiber and copper microelectrodes in the separation and detection of phenols, sugars, amino acids, and polyols.

4. Analysis of Trace Organic Pollutants in Soil:
Comparing the extraction efficiency of ultrasonic, microwave, and supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) methods, and exploring their feasibility for soil analysis.
