我們的主要興趣在於應用分子自組裝技巧於奈米材料之製備。主要領域可概分為下列兩方面:

有機金屬分子導線:包含具有氧化還原活性之乙炔基聚二茂鐵分子導線的合成、光譜鑑定及這一系列乙炔基聚二茂鐵分子在金薄膜上自然形成之單層分子的異相電化學特性研究。

金屬墨水製備及後續熱處理研發:配製用於製備微接線/點之奈米金屬粉體懸浮液、金屬有機溶液,利用噴墨列印的方式可以依設計之圖案直接噴覆複雜線路於各式基板,使用熱處理達到金屬微結構成型,並進行相關材料分析包括電導率量測。

研究的方法主要是利用各種儀器(NMR, X-ray, TEM, SEM, 電化學等)來測量奈米材料表面的物理現象與控制。
